Mission: Catholic Charities of Central Texas works to strengthen individuals, families and communities through direct services, community collaboration and social justice advocacy.
Description: Catholic Charities Central Texas is a ministry offering various services to individuals and families in the Austin area. Some services include emergency relief, community outreach, counseling, immigration and legal services, and family programs. Other services include food pantry, parenting programs, case management, senior services, and referrals to other ministries and agencies. Their Parish Social Ministry works with and supports each Parish's social ministries. Catholic Charities is dedicated to helping people of all ages, faiths, ethnic backgrounds, and economic circumstances and works to address the needs of residents in the Diocese of Austin. Catholic Charities services are available to the 25-counties that encompass the Diocese of Austin. These include: Bastrop, Burnet, Hamilton, Llano, Robertson, Bell, Caldwell, Hays, Mason, San Saba, Blanco, Coryell, Lampasas, McLennan, Travis, Brazos, Falls, Lee, Milam, Washington, Burleson, Fayette, Limestone, Mills, and Williamson.
